NEC announces 24MW of storage in China 365 267 Energy Storage Journal

April 18, 2019: NEC Energy Solutions — through its exclusive distributor in China, energy provider Puxing Energy — announced on April 4 it had commissioned two projects totalling 18MW and a won a third tender for a 6MW project.

The two 9MW systems will be owned and operated by frequency response services provider Ray Power and be used to deliver frequency regulation in Ordos City, Neimongol Province and Tanshan City, Hebei Province.

The third, 6MW project by Ray Power, is under construction in Puzhou City, Shanxi Province. Once completed in the middle of this year it will provide frequency regulation services.
